Municipal Heritage Committee

That the Committee Agenda dated May 28, 2026 be adopted as printed.

That the Heritage Committee receive the Cultural Heritage Evaluation Reports for the properties municipally known as 3509 and 3519 Line 5 for information.

That the minutes of the April 23, 2026 meeting be adopted as printed.

That the Committee recommend that Council receive Staff Report PLN-2026-36 regarding the proposed designation of 24 properties as information; and, That upon review of the report, find the properties identified to have cultural heritage value or interest which merits designation under the Ontario Heritage Act based on the draft Statements of Significance and supporting information; and That Council approve the issuance of Notices of Intention to Designate for the 24 properties identified in the report under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.

That the Committee recommends that Council rescind the previous decision to name the forthcoming dog park after Ms. Julia Munro, at the request of the Munro family.

That the Committee recommend that Council remove the properties municipally known as 3509 and 3519 Line 5 as Listed Properties from the Municipal Register of Heritage Properties.

That the meeting is hereby adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
