Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee

That the Committee Agenda dated May 7, 2025 be adopted as printed.

That the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee express its support for the Bradford Latino Festival and the event application for August 9, 2025; and That Council be requested to consider waiving the public square rental fee associated with the event.

That the minutes of the February 5, 2025 meeting be adopted as printed.

That the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee receive the letter for request of the Inclusion of Major Cultural Holidays on Town Socials as information.

That the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee recommend Council to approve and authorize the Events and Cultural Services Department to procure 20 banners to expand the Holland Street Banner program to the west corridor of Holland Street; and That the design of the banners reflect themes of multiculturalism and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by incorporating the word "Welcome" in a variety of languages selected based on the most current census data.
