The Committee recommends to Council, as per Action ENG.6 of the BWG Diversity & Inclusiveness Action Plan – Implementation Strategy, which states that Council will “engage Black and racialized communities to inform the town on how to best recognize and celebrate the arts and culture of those communities ", that the Strategic Projects Advisory Committee seek the input of the DEI Advisory Committee when considering proposals for the town’s Mural Program.
